Roger Federer: Seeing my team so happy was very beautiful for me

World No. 3 Roger Federer insists a match can be epic even if it's not a Grand Slam semifinal or final.
Federer, seeded at No. 3, survived a thriller on Friday at the Australian Open as he edged out world No. 43 John Millman 4-6 7-6 (2) 6-4 4-6 7-6 (8) to reach the round-of-16.
The Australian was on the verge of a major shock in front of his home fans as he led 8-4 after the opening 12 points of the fifth set super tie-break.
Federer, a record 20-time Grand Slam champion, didn't disappoint in the pressure moments as he used all of his experience and knowledge to win six points in a row and avoid a shock exit.
Seeing how happy Team Federer was after the win meant a lot to the 38-year-old.
"It does not always have to be a final or semifinal in order for it to be epic, it‘s nice that it can also be a third round match. To see my team this happy, like if I had won the tournament is very beautiful to see for me," Federer told SRF Sport.
