Serena Williams praises dad Roger Federer: You are a superman
Serena Williams praised Roger Federer for being successful in tennis at 37, and travelling with four children around the world with his wife Mirka. Speaking during the New Year Eve's Gala in Perth, about giving birth to her daughter Olympia in September 2017, Serena said: 'It's definitely different. She is familiar, she is doing a lot of stuff, proudness and enjoy is everything in my life, and I cannot imagine having two sets of twins. You (Roger) are really a super man in it. Because it's hard. It just shows that we as tennis players have a career and also realize that family means so much to us as well.'
The same night, Alexander Zverev praised David Ferrer's fighting spirit. They faced each other earlier this week at the Hopman Cup in Perth with the German player prevailing only in three sets. Ferrer is playing his last season in career and he will compete in Auckland, Buenos Aires, Acapulco, Barcelona and Madrid in the next few weeks, and months. 'The funny thing is I am 21 years old, you are 36 and in mixed doubles I was cramping! I am just looking at him and he is running on every ball, trying to cross the net, to do as much as he can,' said Zverev to Ferrer recalling their recent match at the Hopman Cup. 'And I am just like "relax, please. We know who you are now, you have been doing for 20 years. You make me look so bad!'
