Andy Murray will come back to Wimbledon and he will distance his retirement

After the announcement of retirement, followed by undergoing of the hip surgery, Andy Murray came back to training with the goal of tasting again all the emotions of a tennis court: "I don't feel pain anymore. I have to be patient and see the progress," said the Scot.

In Melbourne, after the tears in the press conference and the defeat against Roberto Bautista Agut, the pain in the hip was too strong to allow to the three-time-Slam-champion to be able to compete at the best level. Instead, the less invasive hip resurfacing surgery was a success. If everything goes the right way, the Scot should be ready for Wimbledon. And for ready we don't mean just a confidence tournament, but an event during which Andy will try to get a good placement, important points and the rhythm of the match, on his beloved London lawns, which have already seen him triumph twice times.

A few days after the surgery and the start of rehabilitation, he took up the racket in his hand "I am happy because the surgery went well. I can move without feeling pain in my hip, unlike the last two years. Rehabilitation is slow but proceeds. I must be patient. I would like to come back to compete." Then the post on Instagram with the video of his first training session and the writing: "This is only the beginning".

All assumptions that suggest his great come back. And tennis would benefit from it because, since mid-2017, Andy's appearances on a tennis court were too few. With his return, the Big Four would be back in full force, all competitive and ready for new challenges. Maybe from the last part of this season. The hope is to see Murray first again on the court, then competitive again.

He can still give a lot to tennis, showing the younger players the real meaning of the words grit, suffering, determinations and willpower, all skills that the Next Gens have yet to learn to approach.
