Roger Federer is the GOAT - Natalia Vikhlyantseva
In an interview, the Russian player Natalia Vikhlyantseva praised Roger Federer. She is a big fan of the Swiss player and in an interview, she said: "When I was a kid I used to watch a lot of tennis matches. It’s tough to choose just one player, but my idol is Roger Federer - GOAT. I like how he plays, how he acts on the court, no bad emotions at all!"
Asked about her career goals, Vikhlyantseva added: "My biggest dream in tennis is... I want to win Wimbledon, Summer Olympic Games and to be No. 1 player in the world."
On her off-court activities, Vikhlyantseva added: "I spend my free time at university because I’m still studying. But if I have any free time at all, then I go somewhere with family, friends. The cinema, an escape rooms or just walking."
Asked about what was the biggest win in her young career so far, Vikhlyantseva concluded: "It’s tough to choose one good result, but I think the singles final in Hertogenbosch (June 2017) was the best one. And also I was playing Zone group in Poland in Fed Cup. I have won three matches there."
Vikhlyantseva achieved a career-high ranking at No. 54 in October 2017. She is No. 114 now and she last played a tournament in an ITF Slovakia losing to Anna Blinkova in the second round.
