Borna Coric: 'I will enjoy myself drinking wine in 15 years'
Borna Coric was asked how he sees his future during and after his career. The Croatian player said: "In ten years I hope I am still able to play, and in 15 I will retire, I will have good wine and I will enjoy myself. I am not very careful about the criticism. I tend to deal with losses."
On his relationship with his fans, Coric added: "I treat my fans in a normal way. I do not think those people know me enough. They know me only depending on how I built my image. I thank them but they do not know me enough."
Asked about his love stories, Coric replied: "I do not have a girlfriend. I am free. I do not know how my girlfriend should be. If I knew, I could have one."
Recalling his last year's Davis Cup title, Coric added: "It was the best time in my whole career. That's what I have been dreaming about since I was five years old since when I started playing tennis, I saw our compatriots winning the Davis Cup and that's why I started playing tennis. When I was picked to play Davis Cup, it was an honor and I was very proud of myself. When we won the Davis Cup, it was an unforgettable moment which I will remember forever."
Coric admitted he has some routines. "When the tournament starts, I decide what it fits me and I do the same thing until it doesn't end. I go to the same restaurant, I eat the same food, I sit in the same place and on the same chair. I have so many rituals," he laughed.
