Roger Federer's best chances in a Major are at Wimbledon - Emerson
In an interview to W Radio Colombia, former Australian legend Roy Emerson commented on what makes the Big Three unique. Emerson said: "Federer is still playing fantastic tennis. Nadal 12-time French Open winner, 11-time Monte Carlo, he is pretty much unbeatable on clay. Obviously, Andre Agassi was a terrific player on hard surfaces. But it's a different game. Federer's best chances to win another Grand Slam are probably on the grass. Djokovic is quite a few years younger, plays tremendous tennis."
On tennis in general, Emerson added: "Back in the day Australia and America really dominated. But the South Americans have improved so much, also the European players. They are just hungrier, they have won a little bit more than the Australians and Americans."
He finally recalled his visit to Colombia: "We went to Bogota. I used to play in this country. I enjoyed Colombia a lot, people are very familiar and I enjoyed so much."
Nadal's coach Carlos Moya said: "ATP Finals is the priority for Rafa. He is injury-free and he feels very motivated."
David Ferrer hit with Garbine Muguruza. The former world No. 3 said: "I saw her doing very well. I already knew her as a player at the Hopman Cup, where we played together. We have a good relationship. She came for some days to Valencia to keep training. Anabel Medina is helping her, Garbine is a great player. She worked very well, with a lot of desire and as a person, she is very humble."
