Maria Sharapova showcases her boxing skills in her first ever Instagram Reel
Tennis - Retired tennis champion Maria Sharapova has posted an Instagram reel clip of her boxing skills, saying that she needs way more practice.
The former World No. 1, who retired from the sport in January after winning five Grand Slam singles titles, shows off her boxing skills in the clip which includes a beach workout with trainer Tommy Cassano.
Sharapova had said earlier she took up boxing while she was out of the game form a doping ban in 2016.
"I tried boxing as I needed to keep myself in good form. It was great as I could imagine some particular people whom I wanted to hit."
The Russian captioned the post: "My first ever reel. Definitely not the last, as I need way more practice."
