ATP Cincinnati 2021: Zverev vs Rublev's HIGHLIGHTS
Alexander Zverev dominated and won the final of the men's singles of the Western & Southern Open 2021, ATP Masters 1000 on the Cincinnati hard-courts, in front of a crowd a little bored for a match with little emotion. The German beat the Russian with the final score of 6-2 6-3 in 59 minutes of play, winning his 5th ATP Masters 1000 title of his young career.
In the press conference, Zverev said: "I felt very good from the start, and breaking at the opening helped me a lot. From there the match went downhill very quickly in my favor."
Rublev said: "I am still in a learning process, I am trying to understand what to do in various situations and how to speak to myself to be able to solve the problems encountered during the game. I know that my level is not far from his. , because in training when we play the matches they are fought, but every now and then it happens that I lose games very clearly, like today, and this means that mentally I am not yet at his level."
Below the highlights of the final.
