ICC Awards 2017: Complete list of winners

Virat Kohli and Steven Smith claimed the top honours in the icc  awards 2017

Ever since being introduced in 2004, the ICC annual awards have been giving recognition to the best players in all forms of the game.
2017 turned out to be a landmark year for Virat Kohli: with MS Dhoni giving up captaincy in limited-overs at the start of the year, the onus was on the 29-year-old to take the team forward and he did that with aplomb, helping the side remain unbeaten barring one Test throughout the year.

While Kohli was ruling the roost in limited overs, Steven Smith was blazing his way through history books while wearing whites. Despite Kohli having as many as six double hundreds in the last year and a half, Smith was named ICC Test Cricketer of the Year, with the impact his unique batting style created helping him win the prestigious award

For the second year in a row, Marias Erasmus was named the Umpire of the Year.
The Test and ODI teams of the year were also introduced, with Virat Kohli being named the captain of both the sides. Quinton de Kock was named the wicket-keeper in both the teams.
