I would love to face Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, says top 100 player
In an interview to Bio Bio Chile, the Chilean tennis player Christian Garin analyzed how his best season so far went and how he could win three Challengers in a row. 'The goal was clearly not to crack top 100, if they said to me that I would crack too 100 I would have signed everywhere. The three Challengera were also something unexpected, I hoped to win one but not three in a row. I evolved a lot on how to develop a game plan. We have a great team: psychologist, fitness trainer and the coach as well. I have a great support behind, they care about me day by day.'
'Being in the top 100 you start playing with the best players, it's not easy and (Nico) Jarry also did very well this year. It's not easy what we did. The Chilean tennis needs to be congratulated for having two top 100s.'
Commenting on his next plans, Garin added: 'I have to think about playing in Doha in early January and then maybe Sydney or Auckland and it would be one week before Australia, where I will not have to play qualies and I will have time to adapt to the court and site condition.'
Garin also spoke about Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic: 'I would love to play against them. It would be a great thing to tell in the future, but I obviously prefer not to play against them in the first rounds.'
