Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are the big question mark - Coric's coach
In an interview to Sky Sport Borna Coric's coach Riccardo Piatti explained why the younger players have a shot at triumphing on the biggest stages next year, although the veteran ones are always the strongest so far. 'It always depends on the big guys', Piatti said. '(Novak) Djokovic will be how he is, the big question marks are (Rafael) Nadal and (Roger) Federer. What they will be able to do. Four or five years you had to beat some of the Big Four - Nadal, Djokovic, Federer, (Andy) Murray. Now you may have to beat just one because in other tournaments they may not be as competitive as before. So I think younger players can breakthrough.'
On Nadal, Piatti added: 'He has always a very big chance to win in Paris. Rafa's season was always about the clay and this year after Australia the first tournament he played was Monte Carlo. And without any doubt, Rafa's team will make a plan to be ready for Paris. And he will be competitive next year there as well.'
