'Rafael Nadal will be even more careful about selecting events' - Leconte
In an interview to Sport Klub the former player Henri Leconte commented on how he sees tennis in the future. The Frenchman admitted the new generation is coming up in a very strong way. 'Novak (Djokovic) will be at the top, Rafa (Nadal) could be there as well, because he will be even more careful I think about selecting tournaments as Andre Agassi did in the late stage of his career. I think (Stefanos) Tsitsipas will be in the top 10, probably top 5, then you have Raonic, Zverev, a lot of talents, but one thing is sure: you will see a change in the next three years.'
On Djokovic, Leconte further added: 'Sometimes he needs to be a little more aggressive, simply fix a few details because it will be necessary. I am sure he will be able to do it. Given how he played in the last months, I see him at the top for a long time, but in tennis and life you never know, because there is a new generation and others are working like Milos Raonic who developed his game with his coach Ivanisevic. There are many factors, but we know that mentally Nole is the strongest out of everybody, we will see how he will be doing physically and tennis-wise.'
