South-African star Kevin Anderson has withdrawn from the Delray Beach Open.

The 32-year-old hasn't played since the Australian Open as he is dealing with an elbow injury.

The South-African has played at the Delray Beach event eight times so far in his career.

It remains to be seen will Anderson return to Delray Beach in 2020.

Meanwhile, American tennis star John Isner has received a wildcard into Delray Beach by the tournament organizers.

The 33-year-old has played six times in the main draw or Delray Beach so far in his career.

The American failed to make it past the Delray Beach qualifying event in 2009 but debuted in the main draw of the tournament in 2011.

Isner, ranked at No. 9 in the world, made three consecutive semi-finals in Delray Beach between 2012 and 2014.

Isner was beaten by eventual runner-up Peter Gojowczyk in the Delray Beach round-of-16 a year ago.
