Fernando Verdasco and wife Ana Boyer become parents

World no. 35 Fernando Verdasco and his wife Ana Boyer, sister of sister Enrique Iglesias and daughter of former Spanish minister of economy Miguel Boyer Arnedo, became parents of their first child, a son, as reported by Hola Magazine. The baby is called Miguel, in honor of Ana's father who died in 2014. The baby was born in a hospital in Madrid hospital and both Ana and he are said to be doing fine.

Verdasco skipped Indian Wells and Miami and he is set to compete again in the clay season. Verdasco and Boyer first met each other in the summer of 2013 while they were enjoying holidays in Ibiza. In early 2017, they got engaged. The same year, in December, they got married
