Feliciano Lopez:'Roger Federer and I still winning titles? It's not normal'

In an interview to Marca, Feliciano Lopez commented on the older players still being able to prevail over Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. Lopez won at Queen's while Federer triumphed in Halle. "It's true that people speak about the younger guys not being good enough. I did not have injuries and I took care of myself a lot for a while in order to have the longest possible career. Federer did not get injured either and he was very smart with the calendar. But it's clear that the thing that at our age two players win in the same weeks two 500s is not normal", said the Toledo native.

Asked what he thought after the match point of his championship clash against Gilles Simon, Lopez added: "The happiness is so big that you have no time to think about anything.
