Serena Williams's body language is like Rafael Nadal's, says pundit
Speaking on the BBC, the former player Mary Carillo made an interesting comparison between Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal. Carillo believes that both players are very extreme athletes physically. "I would compare her body language to Rafael Nadal's. They are a force of nature. They are their own weather systems out there. And you can't help but feel that, watching this woman go after it the way she has. I know Patrick Mouratoglou has said she is very fit and she's ready to do this. I'd love to see it. I'd love to see her at her best take another title and get rid of this whole idea of trying to meet Margeret Court's record and get past that. She hasn't won a tournament since she's become a mother, it's been two and a half years now. It would be something to see."
Speaking on Sky Sports, Andy Murray's mother Judy commented on Cori Gauff's great run in Wimbledon. The Brit said: "There are many things about her that have impressed me. But I think her composure and focus for a 15-year-old playing at Wimbledon - qualifying for Wimbledon - playing for the first time, on a major court in the biggest prize in tennis against one of the legends in Venus Williams. I watched that match on the TV and I was blown away by her composure and her fight. She reminded me a bit of a young Rafa."
