Adrian Mannarino jokes after Zhuhai final: I'm good at losing ATP finals

French tennis player Adrian Mannarino kept it honest after losing the Zhuhai Championships final as he admitted Alex de Minaur of Australia was the better player in the final.

Mannarino, 31, led 4-2 after the opening six points of the first set tie-break, before the 20-year-old won five points in a row to win a right opener.

The Australian came up big when needed most as he claimed the first break of the match in the 10th game od the second set to seal the title.

"He’s been playing great all the week and today he was just too good for me," Mannarino said of de Minaur's performance, per Tennis Australia.

Mannarino has once again fallen just short of winning it all at a tournament as he now owns a 1/7 record in his eight ATP finals played.

Per L'Equipe, Mannarino joked after the Zhuhai final as he said: "I didn't feel any particular pressure because it was a final. I'm pretty good at losing them but it's good to see that I have played two this year."
