Asked if it's more important to win or enjoy for him, Federer replied: "I'd rather win, because by winning you enjoy and you solve the issue. At the end of the day, that's the most important thing but if I enjoy and I do not win, I am not sure. So winning is definitely the key thing. There is nothing worse than the fear of losing. It definitely gives me fear, I do not head into the courts thinking that I will lose, I always expect to win and that my opponent doesn't play his lifetime match. I am bothered by not playing well."
