The Australian Open pay homage to Caroline Wozniacki. The Dane was recognized as the woman who, more than any other, was the inspiration for the tournament. Melbourne Park congratulated Caroline one last time: she retired from tennis in this tournament, where she played her last match against Ons Jabeur, losing in three sets.

In her amazing career Wozniacki won the Australian Open 2018, the WTA Finals 2017 and a total of 30 titles in 55 finals played.
