John Isner: Should the ATP/WTA freeze ranking points or let all the points fall off
Tennis - American tennis player John Isner posted a message on Twitter wondering what should be done about the ranking points on the ATP & WTA Tour during the tennis suspension.
Isner tweeted, 'Asking this not because I’m tone deaf but more because I think a healthy debate could be fun. So tennis fans, Should the ATP/WTA ‘freeze’ ranking points during this hiatus or let all the points fall off?'

They absolutely have to figure out something with the points. At least extend them somehow. This is out of the ATP’s control but a sensible solution is reachable.

From my point of view, it is a no-brainer. Points should freeze - this is not a mere one week off, this is a huge chunk of the season where some players have performed better than others. Line is drawn when there's a huge inequality in terms of opportunities to defend points imo
