One of Bruno Mars’ opening acts sang at the Mouratoglou Resort inauguration
British singer Alex Hepburn — who was the opening act for Bruno Mars during his first headlining concert and at the British Summer Time Hyde Park music festival in 2018 — entertained the audience came to celebrate the renaming of the resort that hosts the Patrick Mouratoglou’s tennis academy.
The resort located in the region of Biot, France, was named “Beachcomber French Riviera” until the following news appeared.
“Breaking News! The Beachcomber French Riviera changes its name and officially becomes Mouratoglou Hotel & Resort. More sport, culinary discoveries, more corporate and evening events and afterworks are scheduled in this year 2020, which will be full of surprises” the resort’s representatives wrote on Instagram.
The new name is more representative as the complex hosts the practice courts of the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy. The day of the inauguration started with a guided presentation of the resort conducted by the founder himself, Patrick Mouratoglou. The festivities continued with a delicious stop at chef Olivier Marro’s table, which was full of pastries.
As soon as the evening came, the guests started arriving at the L’Embleme restaurant, glancing along the way at the impressive decorations. Mouratoglou’s inaugural speech followed right before he cut the red ribbon and let the guests go inside and enjoy Alex Hepburn’s high notes and the other surprises prepared for the festive night.
“Alex Hepburn killed it!” Patrick Mouratoglou wrote on Instagram.
The Mouratoglou Hotel & Resort has 155 rooms, 11 seminar rooms, 2 restaurants and a Cinq Mondes Spa, and offers a wide variety of activities meant to increase the wellness of the guests.
