Andy Roddick points out Donald Trump’s controversial 60 Minutes interview

After Donald Trump halted the interview he gave to 60 Minutes on Tuesday, Andy Roddick, followed by 1.4 million people on Twitter,  couldn’t hold himself down and shared a few fragments showing the current American president avoiding Lesley Stahl's “tough questions” before setting his way out from the show’s improvised studio.

During what ended up to be a 45-minute-long interview, Donald Trump was asked about his COVID-19 approach, his health-care plan, rally chants, and more, but the President considered many of Lesley Stahl’s questions as being inappropriate. When the conversation started to fire up, Stahl tried to cool it down.

“You know, I didn't want to have this kind of angry …" Stahl said before getting interrupted. "Of course you did," said Trump. "You brought up a lot of subjects that were inappropriately brought up."

Seconds after, Trump cut off the interview: "I think we have enough of an interview here, that’s enough. Let’s go!”

You can see the scene in this video retweeted by Andy Roddick.

After Donald Trump left the scene, his press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, handed Lesley a heavy folder that was described as being president’s health care plan.

Why did Donald Trump leave the interview?

Although Donald Trump and CBS had scheduled a second discussion after what should have been a 60-minute-long interview, Stahl ended up talking only with Vice-President Mike Pence, who motivated the president’s abrupt walk away.

"President Trump is a man who speaks his mind, it’s one of the great strengths that he’s had as president of the United States, that the American people know where they stand," Pence said in explanation. "It’s less about the back-and-forth with the media, and it’s more about how we bring the country all the way back."

Considering his past tweets, Andy Roddick is unhappy with Trump’s way of administering the USA, and therefore, one can see many articles and aversions to the president’s name on his Twitter profile.
