ATP Vienna: Andrey Rublev vs Dominic Thiem's MATCH-POINT

The Russian Andrey Rublev, with 11 aces, 90% of points with the first serve and without ever losing the serve, kills the hopes the host and defending champion Dominic Thiem in two sets, in the ATP 500 in Vienna.

First set in total balance until the tiebreak, where the Russian comes back from 3-4 and wins it 7-5. In the second set Thiem feels the blow and after having struggled to keep the first game, he collapses at the bar, leaving Rublev with the initiative that wins five games in a row by flying 5-1.

Thiem proudly cancels a match point on his serve and sends Rublev to serve after holding the 5-2 game. The Russian does not tremble and closes the game of the match at 15. The eighth seed of the tournament will face Kevin Anderson in the semifinals.  In fact, the South African gained access to the semifinals by beating the Russian Danil Medvedev with a score of 6-4 7-6. Anderson serves well, does not commit any double faults and collects 9 aces.
