Vienna attacks: Nicolas Massu closed in a restaurant after the shots!

Europe, already hit hard by the global COVID-19 pandemic, yesterday returned to the terrorism nightmare, after yesterday evening, in the center of Vienna, there was a shooting: a group of terrorists attacked the city in six different places, killing at least three people and injuring at least 17, according to the press. The police urged the population to stay at home and people in restaurants and homes, while today there will be no classes at school.

Among the people who stayed in nearby restaurants was Nicolas Massu, former Olympic champion and coach of Dominic Thiem. The Chilean remained in the Austrian capital to train with the world number three, who is preparing for the ATP finals.

Massu said in a message: "Hi guys, I am in the center of Vienna very close to the start and we are inside a restaurant and we are waiting, hoping to get out as soon as possible. Thanks for your messages"

Austrian Interior Minister Karl Nehammer said the shooting appears to be of a terrorist nature, carried out by several people and against six targets in the city center. A police cordon immediately isolated the entire area, but several suspects are still at large, managing so far to escape what has been described as a real manhunt.

Vienna police appealed not to share videos that may have been made by passers-by at the time of filming, because sharing would put the agents involved in the operation, as well as the civilian population, at risk.
