Roger Federer: 'I am not so good at cooking. My daughters have the control'

Roger Federer spoke about his cooking skills. The Swiss said: "I am not very good at cooking. My daughters like taking the situation under control. They are able to prepare the breakfast and cook pasta. Otherwise we always go to the restaurants. I always had the chance to have someone at home who told me I could leave the kitchen."

On Kim Clijsters coming back to the competition, he added: "That's great. She has a 28-year-old female body if you take away all the years where she did not play. She is doing well, I love this idea. What I always say, if you take time to have a break, I think in the end you can use it. As long as the mind is right."

On the Laver Cup, Federer said: "We are here to win but it will be very competitive. Laver Cup was created with the idea of bringing something to tennis. It's not here to destroy what's already there. Feedbacks are great. Who would not like to spend a week with Rafael Nadal or play in front of 20,000 fans for a team led by Bjorn Borg or John McEnroe? I did not want the Laver Cup to give points as it would be unfair for players who do not play it. But even if no rankings points are at stake, everyone will play hard. The idea is to understand that as soon as you head into the stadium, you are in the Laver Cup. And you do not want to leave it."

On his daughters, Federer concluded: "I like reading them good stories."
