Mouratoglou explains key for Stefanos Tsitsipas to upset Rafael Nadal
In an interview to Eurosport the Stefanos Tsitsipas's coach Patrick Mouratoglou commented on the upcoming match between the 20-year-old Greek and Rafael Nadal in the Australian Open semifinals on Thursday. They will face each other for the third time, Nadal leads head to head meetings 2-0 having previously won, always in straight sets, at last year's Toronto and Barcelona finals.
"Tsitsipas needs to have a really good night", said Mouratoglou, who had a busy Australian Open so far having coached Serena Williams as well. "We know this is where Rafael Nadal is very strong because he takes the players into that diagonal as he is very at ease. He pushes the players to shorten the game and he finishes by directing the rally with his forehand so it’s going to be important but there are some other keys: the serve will be also a key. But the capacity and ability of Stefanos to attack on the backhand side will be another element. That’s for sure!'

Nadal had a perfect run in Melvourne so far having won all the five matches played so far in straight sets.
