Olympia loved to watch Serena Williams playing in Abu Dhabi - Organizer

In an exclusive interview with Tennis World USA the Mubadala World Tennis Championship Tournament Director Vickie Gunnarsson spoke about how Serena Williams's one-year and five-month old daughter, Olympia, enjoyed her mother and auntie Venus facing each other on December 27 last year. Olympia clapped both Serena and Venus, watching the match on the grounds with her father Alexis Ohanian. 'Olympia loved to watch Serena playing and she was very very excited', admitted Gunnarsson.

The tournament ended on a very high note with Novak Djokovic defeating Kevin Anderson in a two-hour and 40-minute championship clash. 'This match was amazing, definitely very fresh in my mind and very exciting', said Gunnarsson. 'Anderson was on fire and you can tell how bad he wanted to beat Novak in this match. The players were all out and there was just an unbelievable atmosphere in the stadium. It definitely ranks very high on my list. Obviously the first year was exciting having Federer, Nadal and Andy but this match ranks list too.'

Gunnarsson also runs the Silicon Valley Classic tournament of San Jose and is the Miami Open PR. What advice would her give to a young person who dreams to have a similar job as her? 'Stick to your passion, what you want to do is very important and work very hard. Sometimes we do not get what we want as quicly, so persistance and a lot of passion is the key, because good things will come. There is a lot of great opportunities out there.'
