Schedule to be the key for Roger Federer and Nadal -Serena Williams' coach

In a column for Le Figaro the Serena Williams' coach Patrick Mouratoglou commented on Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal's 2018 season. 'Roger was disappointing this year than the previous years', admitted Mouratoglou. 'He lost in the Wimbledon quarter-finals, US Opdn fourth round and he won mo Masters 1000s. He is 37, he ended his year as world No. 3 and in Australia he won his 20th Major. Rafa, 32, was once again untouchable on clay with Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Rome and Roland Garros titles. The tennis legends show they are still there. However, both had a bad second half of the season mainly due to physical problems. Their tournaments schedule, but also training sessions during the season, will be decisive so that they keep at the top for a few more years.'
'The 2018 year was characterised by the Davis Cup format change, which was similar to a real killing of the tournament. This disaster needs to be a lesson. In future, we have to make little changes so that our sport keeps growing. We have to attract the younger players, and to do it, accept to evolve the show that we offer and adapt it to the new TV formats.'
