David Ferrer makes comparison between Rafael Nadal and Guillermo Coria
In Buenos Aires David Ferrer made an interesting comparison between Guillermo Coria and Rafael Nadal, who were both very successful on clay. The 36-year-old said: "The Argentine I liked the most was Coria: he was the Argentinean Rafa Nadal. On indoor, it was (David) Nalbandian, who was not as consistent but they had a unique talent, also (Gaston) Gaudio; they are players who I would have liked to spend more time on court with."
Acapulco, Barcelona and Madrid are left for Ferrer: "It will be emotional, there will be a lot of people that I love and who have been part of my personal and professional life. I try not thinking much about it because sometimes the emotion makes you disconnect a little from playing matches and on this aspect I am handling it, being calmer and doing well physically."
He concluded: "I would like people to remember me as a person who fought everything to win every match. I am okay with not winning a Grand Slam. I had three or four players ahead who had an unbelievable level and who made me improve."
