Spanish tennis star Roberto Bautista Agut has withdrawn from the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament.
Bautista Agut, who was seeded at No. 7 in the Rotterdam main draw, was drawn to meet rising South Korean star Hyeon Chung in the first round.
The Spaniard has played in Rotterdam twice so far in his career.
Bautista Agut, ranked at No. 18 in the world, debuted in the hard courts of Rotterdam in 2015.
Back then, the Spaniard made the round-of-16, before he was beaten by French Gael Monfils.
Bautista Agut returned to Rotterdam a year later -- when he made the quarter-final, before losing to eventual champion Martin Klizan.
Former world No. 13 Bautista Agut last played at this week's Sofia Open.
The Spaniard came from a set down to beat Australian Matt Ebden in his Sofia opener before an illness forced him to give a walkover to Hungary's Marton Fucsovics in the round-of-16.
Bautista Agut will be replaced by Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili in the Rotterdam main draw.
Meanwhile, it remains to be seen will Bautista Agut be ready to return to competitive action at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.
The Dubai event is due to be held from February 25 - March 02.
Bautista Agut will be the defending champion in Dubai as he won it all a year ago after beating Lucas Pouille in the final.
