Tsitsipas is still single, he needs to find private happiness - Mother

Stefanos Tsitsipas is going through an amazing stage in his life, having just reached his maiden Major semifinal at the Australian Open defeating, among others, Roger Federer. In an interview to Sport 360, his mother Yulia spoke about Tsitsipas's private life. "He has a very nice team, a small team but nice, I think that’s important. Maybe he needs to find his private happiness a little bit, because he’s still single", said Yura. "It’s good in a way but when you discover something new in your life, and give you a small boost in every sense, you explore yourself as a personality, deeper thoughts, deeper meanings, and you become a wiser person in the process.”

Father Apostolos also explained why Stefanos played the Next Gen ATP Finals in Milan last year, ending the season in November. Tsitsipas won the title in a five-set final. “What I like about him, because he’s part of the ATP, the people love him, many times he keeps on telling me, ‘You know I have my family,' I told him, ‘Who’s you’re family, we’re you’re family’. He says, ‘My second family is ATP. I have to go see the physios, they love me, they talk to me," said Apostolos. "The stringers, the ATP guys, the managers, the officials, they take care of us’. So he wants to give back to the ATP the best way he can."
