Greg Rusedski explains why Roger Federer is likely to play 2020 Tokyo Games

Speaking on Amazon Prime, during Indian Wells, the former world no. 4 Greg Rusedski commented on when he thought Roger Federer would retire from tennis. The British player-turned-pundit strongly believes the Swiss will play the 2020 Games. "I feel terrible for Roger, I really do," joked Rusedski. "He’s only got a silver medal in the singles. Twenty Grand Slams, 100 titles. I mean, poor guy! But you think about it - it is interesting. He signed a 10-year deal with this clothing manufacturer and this company is out of Japan. So boy would they love to have Roger Federer in Japan holding that Olympic gold medal. It’s quite an interesting brand because of the fact that it has casual clothes as well. So they want the logo everywhere."

Catherine Whitaker praised Dominic Thiem: "He has now beaten Roger Federer on a hard court, on a clay court, and on a grass court. That’s quite something, isn’t it? He leads the head to head 3-2 and has beaten him on hard and grass. I find that amazing. Because the women’s final was so good and so long, there was a long delay on the scheduled start time for the men’s final. We were watching both of their warm-up shots but I was paying particular attention to Dominic Thiem. Then we saw them get on the buggy and go to court. All I could think was just how tense and nervous Thiem looked. His fitness trainer was doing this weird exercise where he had one hand on either side of his chest and was sort of literally trying to loosen up his chest."
