Roger Federer is a clean person, has big passions - Chef
In an interview to Il Giornale the chef Davide Oldani commented on how it felt like to meet Roger Federer for a Barilla advertisement video twice, in September 2017 and September 2018 respectively in Milan and Chicago. "It was really a surprise. Roger was great. He is a clean person who has big passions. We found a great feeling straight forward and with Barilla we made a trio of same values", said Oldani.
Recalling his first meeting with Federer, the Italian added: "I did not know Roger: at the end of the day it was like we were longtime friends. He likes to eat food and he just likes to eat. He is intrigued by all what he likes. He shows passion on it too."
Asked what they spoke about, Oldani added: "We exchanged information. After stopping with football I played tennis too. I like the game a lot: I may now have some more weapons. He suggested me some tactics, while I gave him some tricks in eating. I am proud about this ad that celebrates the made in Italy products and that even appeared on the Times Square of New York. Roger is just great. And I added something amazing to my life too."
