Colombia's Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah have won the 2019 Barcelona Open doubles title.

No. 3 seeds Cabal and Farah defeated second-seeded Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares 6-4 7-6 (4) in the Barcelona final.

The Colombians recovered from an early break as they broke Murray and Soares in the third and seventh game to claim the first set.

Murray and Soares blew two set points on their serve in the ninth game and three more set points in the 12th game.

Murray and Soares led 4-2 in the tie-break but then the Colombians won five points in a row to seal a straight-set win.

Cabal and Farah converted 4-of-9 of their break point chances and saved 9-of-12 of Murray and Soares' break point opportunities in an hour and 39 minutes of play.

Elsewhere, No. 3 seeds Ken Skupski and Neal Skupski defeated Marcos Daniell and Wesley Koolhof 6-3 6-4 to claim the Budapest doubles title.

The Skupski brothers opened a quick 3-0 first-set lead and then held on to their serve to seal the opener.

The Britons got off to a good start at the beginning of the second set as well as they broke their opponents in the opening game and then kept their serve to clinch a win.
