Fabio Fognini: 'What can I do against Rafael Nadal? I should kill him!'

Fabio Fognini defeated Borna Coric in three sets, 1-6 6-3 6-2, to reach the Monte Carlo Masters semifinals. In a press conference the Italian, who was heading into the Monte Carlo Masters having lost seven of the previous eight matches played, said: "I hope that the bad time is behind me. On the next match against Rafael Nadal, Fognini added: "It's pretty late, I will try to recover and do my best. What can I do against him? I should kill him! Today he did not play very well but tomorrow is another day. I have to keep a high level for the entire match. I hope that it will not be like my 2013 semifinal against Novak Djokovic here. I also hope that the entire crowd will be on my side. This tournament is like home for me, more than Rome. I am happy for my relatives and friends who came here this week, but especially for me."
