Federer 'I'd rather have nice dinner with friends than going to nightclubs'
Roger Federer always stood out for his behaviour and sportsmanship during his career, both on and off the court. In an interview, the Swiss player said he never spends time at late night outside. "Coming out of a nightclub later on at night is not something which is the worst thing in the world. You should also have fun but it's something I do not do much, to be honest. I hardly ever go out because I am too tired at 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning. I'd rather have a relaxing night with my friends and family, talk and have nice dinners but it's something I am not really mad about. I am not the type of guy. I'd rather be a model for kids and myself. It's the person I am and I am not going to go out there just to cause controversy to be in the media and that's the way to do it for me. People give me a lot of compliments which is very nice but that's not why I do it. I do it because it's genuine."
Federer always looks forward to visiting new places. He recently said he would love to play in more cities of South America, Asia. "That's how you can grow the game. I have always been a big believer in the Asian continent so I have always enjoyed coming back and our tour is very global, we only come to some countries maybe maximum five, six times a year and in other ones just once or twice, so when big players come, that's gonna maybe help the next generation."
