Injury forces Filip Krajinovic to withdraw late from Estoril Open

Rising Serbian star Filip Krajinovic has withdrawn from the Estoril Open due to a foot injury, the tournament announced.

The Serb appeared to be set to make his second appearance on the clay of Estoril but the injury forced him to pull out of the event on Monday.  

The 27-year-old debuted at the Estoril event three years ago, when he made the round-of-16 before losing to Australia's Nick Kyrgios. 

Krajinovic, ranked at No. 77 in the world, last played at the Hungarian Open in Budapest last week. 

The Serb played lots of match in Budapest as he made the final as a qualifier before losing to Italian Matteo Berrettini. 

Krajinovic, who was drawn to meet Italy's Salvatore Caruso in the Estoril first round, will be replaced by Uruguayan Pablo Cuevas. 

Caruso and Cuevas are set for a rematch as the Italian beat the Uruguayan in the Estoril qualifying final round 6-4 5-7 6-4.
