Novak Djokovic to play doubles with Marko Djokovic in Monte Carlo
World No. 1 Novak Djokovic is set to play doubles with his brother Marko Djokovic for the second time this year as the two have entered the Monte Carlo Masters doubles event.
The Djokovic brothers teamed up at the beginning of the season to play Doha.
Back then, the Djokovics made the semi-final before losing to David Goffin and Pierre-Hugues Herbert in an extremely tight clash 6-1 3-6 15-13.
The Djokovic brothers, who were granted a doubles wildcard by the Monte Carlo organizers, have been handed a tough opener as they are set to open their campaign against 2018 Australian Open runners-up Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah.
However, the Djokovic brothers aren't the only interesting pairing in Monte Carlo as the event is set to feature more interesting teams.
Three-time Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka and 2017 Nitto ATP Finals champion Grigor Dimitrov are set to meet in the first round 2017 Australian Open champions Henri Kontinen and John Peers.
Germany's Alexander Zverev and Mischa Zverev will be opening their campaign against Monaco's Romain Arneodo and Hugo Nys.
The Zverev brothers recently captured their second team title after beating Austin Krajicek and Artem Sitak in the Acapulco final.
Austria's Dominic Thiem and Jurgen Melzer have been drawn to meet rising Canadian stars Felix Auger-Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov in the first round.
Thiem, 25, and 37-year-old Melzer were granted a wildcard by the tournament organizers.
Also, Goffin and Lucas Pouille will be fighting against Marcelo Demoliner and Daniil Medvedev in the first round.
