Serena Williams' coach explains why Roger Federer can win French Open

In an interview to L'Equipe, Serena Williams's coach Patrick Mouratoglou said Roger Federer can go far in the French Open. The Frenchman believes there is one perfect scenario that could help the Swiss. "If Nadal really loses his dominance and [Novak] Djokovic plays as he does right now, Roger can win in Paris. Following his loss to Fabio Fognini in the Monte Carlo Masters, Nadal said: "Was bad feeling. Was a tough day and was a difficult opponent. He’s got good results, won the French Open, won a couple of Masters 1000 [titles], so for him there’s no reason not to play. Over the last few years maybe he was struggling a bit physically [and] he chose not to play on the clay. But now that he is fit, there’s no reason for him not to play on the clay."
