Tennis coach shares the strangest thing about Novak Djokovic's Miami loss
Speaking on Tennis Channel the former Roger Federer's coach Paul Annacone commented on Novak Djokovic's loss to Roberto Bautista Agut in Miami. The American said: "I don't know. I found very interesting what he said in press conference, so much confidence coming off the Australian Open win, I don't know what he did to prepare for tournaments, lost a couple of tough matches, but Bautista Agut is too good, he beat him in Qatar, he is comfortable playing against him. It's very strange to say that, Novak missed opportunities, he used just two out of ten break points second and third set, that doesn't happen when you are Novak Djokovic but Bautista Agut's position took Novak's time and confidence. I do not know what he has got to do differently."
"There were too many things happening off the court, and he seemed a little bit irritated at times on the court and distracted. The fluctuation of concentration as well. Usually, we see Novak when he is at his best, which is quite often, he is so dialled in every single point and he doesn't let up and on those clunch moments that's when he comes through and raised his level, just did not do that."
Djokovic is now taking a rest and he is committed to play his next tournament at the Monte Carlo Masters where he won 2013 and 2015 titles. The Serb will compete there as the first seeded player.
