Atp 's-Hertogenbosch - Entry List: Grigor Dimitrov returns after 11 years

Grigor Dimitrov has had a bad season so far, playing less matches and getting less wins due to a shoulder injury that forced him to skip Rotterdam and Acapulco tournaments in February and Indian Wells in March. That's why after the French Open there will be no time to rest for the 27-year-old, who is committed to competing in the 's-Hertogenbosch Libema Open from 10 to 16 of June. Dimitrov will make his second appearance ever there after playing, through a wild card invitation, in 2008 as a 16-year-old losing to Igor Andreev. Last year Dimitrov has withdrawn from the Stuttgart Mercedes Cup, and the Tournament Director Edwin Weindorfer complained about it. So if Dimitrov wanted to play a tournament during that week, the Libema Open was the only option. 'It's a tough one because I had a two-year contract with Grigor for 2017 and 2018. He played in 2017 and he decided not to play in 2018', Weindorfer said. 'I was very disappointed. I do not want to make any further comment on it.'

Asked why Dimitrov took this decision, Weindorfer replied: I don't know, you have to ask Grigor and his agent. There was a chance in his management team also, so you have to ask him.'

In 2017 Dimitrov switched from Team 8, Roger Federer and Tony Godsick co-founded management company, to the agent George Steimanov.

Stefanos Tsitsipas headlines a star-stunned field, the Greek is having a very busy tournaments schedule this year. Richard Gasquet is the defending champion, last year the Frenchman defeated Jeremy Chardy in the championship clash. The local player Robin Haase, the 2015 finalist David Goffin and Fernando Verdasco will try to go far, as well as the younger players Frances Tiafoe, Taylor Fritz and Alex De Minaur.
