Federer, Djokovic, Nadal keep winning everything - Auger-Aliassime's coach

In an interview to Punto de Break the Felix Auger-Aliassime's coach Frederic Fontang commented on the Big Three dominance. Fontang said: "Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer keep winning everything. Roger's game level is very high but look at his physical level. He is so fit. It's not easy for a young guy. Just look at Alexander Zverev who is on the top five and in the Grand Slams, it's a different story since they are very exigent on a physical level. We cannot say that it's impossible but it's very tough."

On the keys to go far in a Major, Fontang added: "We are working on it. Since ten years, the whole technical part of the Federation is doing a great job to build a good national centre and there are a lot of good coaches there and now you can see the results. It's very motivating to see that and it will be a motivation for the other younger guys."

On Felix's relationship with Denis Shapovalov, he added: "It's very good. They are very good friends and it's good that if one does well, the other wants to do well too. He has to improve and needs to keep delivering his body and technique. We need to control the time well. We work on a daily basis to help him be better and that he reached his highest potential. He is very young and he has a lot of levels. Hopefully, he gets to the top but we are calm."

Auger-Aliassime will play the Rome Open next. He reached his maiden career-final earlier this year in the Rio Open.
