Fernando Verdasco Signed as Global Brand Ambassador for Maui Jim

Tennis - Spain's Fernando Verdasco has been signed as an ambassador by luxury sunglasses brand Maui Jim. Verdasco joins Spanish players David Ferrer and Garbiñe Muguruza and Belgium's David Goffin as brand ambassadors for Maui Jim, which is also the official sponsor of the ATP Tour since 2015, according to Marca. 

Verdasco turned professional in 2001. He is a former Top 10 player and is currently ranked in the Top 40 of the world rankings. He has finished in the Top 10 in 2009 and 2010 and also finished in the Top 50 for 14 consecutive years (2004-2017). Verdasco has also been a semi-finalist at the Australian Open in 2009 and part of the Spanish Davis Cup winning team on three occasions. He is currently in Rome for the Italian Open where he will meet Britain's Kyle Edmund in the first round on Sunday.

He has won 7 ATP singles & doubles titles in his career thus far.
