Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares to split after French Open

Brazilian Bruno Soares has announced that he and Great Britain's Jamie Murray will end their partnership after the French Open

Soares, 37, and 33-year-old Murray have been one of the most successful doubles teams since teaming up three and a half years ago. 

The two have won a total of 10 titles together, including wins at the Australian Open and US Open in their first season as a pair. 

This season, Murray and Soares have won only one title together -- in the second week of the season in Sydney. 

They fell just short of winning it all at the Barcelona Open as they ended runners-up in the final to Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah. 

Murray and Soares will now be hoping to end their successful partnership with a good result at Roland Garros. 

Murray and Soares, seeded at No. 2, will open their French Open campaign against Matteo Berrettini and Lorenzo Sonego. 

Soares' new partner is set to be Croatian Mate Pavic, who won the 2018 Australian Open title alongside his current partner Oliver Marach. 

On the other side, The Daily Mail reported that Murray has had discussions with Neal Skupski about forming a team.
