Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Djokovic play the best tennis ever - Legend

Former Spanish player Manuel Orantes praised the Big Three players - Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. Speaking to Marca, Orantes said: "Especially technique-wise. If you look at how well he plays, all the shots, how he makes it easy. You want to enjoy it a lot more. Rafa has a body, mentality, strength that for me is at a higher level than all the other sports. Everyone with his own weapons. I admire Nadal more because I have been knowing him since when he is a kid, he is from my same country, he is bringing a lot of things and for the younger guys, he is an inspiration. Looking at him, Federer, you can get inspired to work more in life as well."

Orantes also recalled his beginnings in tennis: "I was coming off from winning the world junior championship in Miami, I had a place in the Davis Cup team and I could start training with the best players. The Federation helped you with travelling and living tennis much more. People still remember the 1967 tie in Australia, they were up at 4:00 AM to watch it. We were playing against Newcombe, Emerson... You could improve the serve, volleys."

How many things changed since then? "A lot. You were playing by invitation. Now in the '72-73, the Open Era was introduced, you got more professional and it's very different from the current great champions. I was lucky and privileged to win important titles. Seeing Nadal, Federer and Djokovic, now you watch the best and most beautiful tennis ever but you could enjoy a lot with Borg, Connors, Nastase, Laver, Santana. But now you can watch many more matches on TV."
