Murray, 32, made a return to competitive action at the Queen's Club this Thursday.

Murray and partner Feliciano Lopez knocked out top-seeded Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah in what was the Scot's first match since undergoing a hip resurfacing surgery in January.

The former world No. 1 also intends to play doubles in Eastbourne next week.

The three-time Grand Slam champion has chosen Brazilian Marcelo Melo to play with in Eastbourne.

Murray chose a strong partner as Herbert won the 2016 Wimbledon title with Nicolas Mahut.

Per Stuart Fraser, Murray also asked some players from the WTA tour about playing with him in the Wimbledon mixed doubles event.

Murray hopes to make a singles comeback before this season ends.
