Fabio Fognini and Flavia Pennetta to become parents again
Just two years after their first son's birth, Fabio Fognini and Flavia Pennetta are set to become parents again. The 2015 US Open winner is pregnant again. They hope it's a girl after that in May 2017 Flavia gave birth to a boy. You can see Flavia's bigger belly on their holidays. It has been an unforgettable 2019 season so far for Fognini who won his maiden Masters 1000 title in Monte Carlo and then cracked the top ten rankings after reaching the French Open third round.
Fognini lost to Denis Shapovalov at The Boodles. The Italian stated: "It's normal to struggle after switching from clay to grass, that happens to everyone. I have not been playing on grass for a year, so we will see how things go. I have no expectations for Wimbledon. I have to prepare at my best. I have a one-week time, I am relaxed and I am trying to prepare in the best possible way and be at 100 percent."
Rafael Nadal is not worried about his straight-set loss to Marin Cilic. The Spaniard lost 6-3 6-3 and after the match, he said: “This was the first time that I played points and that was too much for me today. I’m excited to be back at Wimbledon. This type of match today helps to try to be ready. Of course, I decided not to play a tournament before Wimbledon, I’m 33 so I need to save energy. I will just try to improve a little bit every single day and on Friday I have will try to be a bit better.”
