Marin Cilic speaks on Leo Borg facing big expectation and pressure
Croatian tennis ace Marin Cilic understands the position of Swede Leo Borg as he hopes the 15-year-old will become a tennis star one day.
Borg is facing big expectation and pressure to succeed in the game since his father Bjorn was one of the best ever to play the game.
The Borg senior won 11 Grand Slam titles, two titles at the season-ending ATP Finals event, one Davis Cup title, as well as reached the No. 1 ranking, before retiring at the age of 26.
Now, nearly four decades later since the Borg senior called it a career, the tennis world is interested in seeing what can his son Leo do in the game of tennis.
"It's not easy, especially growing up like that," Cilic acknowledged, per The Sun.
"Even I can relate to my younger brother, who played tennis and when he was 10 there would be 100 people watching him play.
"It's stressful. It's a weight on his back. But he seems to be dealing with it. Maybe it can push him to go through."
