Stefanos Tsitsipas: I will donate £10,000 to a charity if...

Stefanos Tsitsipas believes that Felix Auger-Aliassime is a better player than him despite the Greek being the world no. 6 and the Canadian ranked 21st. Tsitsipas said: "It does worry me because it's upsetting obviously that he's better than me. I have to accept that he's better than me. I might never beat him but I just need to wait, years maybe, for that chance to come. If not, then not. If yes, then fantastic - I'll donate, I don't know, £10,000 to a charity."

Assessing his week at Queen's, Tsitsipas added: "Happy with the way I played. Did a lot of things. I can take a lot of things from that and move on. I gained some experience and some understanding of the game on grass." He also admitted he has been dealing with a sore shoulder: "Playing two matches (over the same day) wasn't easy. Playing a three-set match was really difficult, not just for my nerves but also for my body. So that was it."

Reflecting on Wimbledon, Tsitsipas commented: "I'm feeling positive. I just need to think the right way and be physically ready for best-of-five matches."

On what it meant for him to be the top seed at Queen's, he said: "I don't even watch the draws, to be honest. I don't know who is on my part of the draw. I don't know who is no. 2. I mean, if you ask me who is no. 2, I have no clue. So I just play. I just have to -- I have to play. I don't have to think I'm no. 1 or no. 2. But probably some players would think about it when they play against you, but if you think of it too much when you play, like, I'm the no. 1, I'm the one who is the favorite, I'm the one who everybody expects me to win, then you become kind of lazy. You expect everything to become easier to you just because you're no. 1, no. 2, or 3 or 4. You have to play the way -- I have to play the way I have been playing all this time without thinking of those small details."
