Roger Federer takes family in the Alps to recharge after Wimbledon
The Wimbledon runner-up, Roger Federer, was spotted recharging his batteries by spending quality time with his wife Mirka and his kids in the Alps of eastern Switzerland.
In his Alps escapade, Federer didn’t quite get rid of the torrid weather that took over Europe - even if went in a mountain zone -, so, besides hiking, he and his family decided to cool off in a swimming complex from Badi.
“He is travelling with his family with the camper, they were hiking in the Alpstein and swimming in Badi in Appenzell.”, said Reno Inauen - former Innerholden Councilor who met Roger Federer during his holiday in the Alps -, as quoted by Tennis Tonic.
Surprisingly, people did not immediately recognize the famous figure of Roger Federer as they needed a clue to acknowledge his presence.
“People did not even recognize him at the beginning, only when some wanted to take pictures with him, it became clear who is there.”, said a local reporter quoted by Tennis Tonic.
Speaking about his post-career plans, Federer declared that having a great family is one of his life goals, so there is no doubt that Federer loves spending time with his family.
“Having a big family was always a personal dream of mine with my wife, so we have that, and I am definitely looking forward to having a more settled life at one point in time in my life. Living in Switzerland and just having more relaxed routines than what it is now, so I am really looking forward to that…” said Roger.
